45.9 km², Austria's largest lake entirely within the country. Located in the Salzkammergut region, it features crystal-clear, alpine water and reaches a maximum depth of 169 m. Excellent for trout, arctic char, perch, pike, and pikeperch fishing. Both shoreline and deepwater fishing available.
