Take the M1 motorway to the Tatabánya exit, then head towards Bokod via Oroszlány. Multiple access points around the lake with parking near fishing spots. By public transport: bus from Oroszlány to Bokod.

A ~197 ha cooling reservoir beside Oroszlány with an average depth of 3–4 m and maximum depth of 8 m.
