Access to the canal is possible along the Loire, near Briare. A local AAPPMA permit is required.

Description

The Canal latéral à la Loire is a 196 km long canal in France, starting in the Saône-et-Loire department and extending to Briare. The canal provides a water connection between the Rhône and the Seine, and among our fish species, carp, pike, pikeperch, and perch can be found here.
