It can be accessed from the center of Mont-Dore, approximately 8 km towards Clermont-Ferrand. A local AAPPMA permit is required.

Lac de Guéry is a mid-mountain lake located at an altitude of 1250 m in the Auvergne region. The lake is of volcanic origin and its clear water is particularly attractive to anglers. Here, both trout and arctic char can be found.
