1. The service
fishpins is a community map for sharing fishing spots. Content (spots, photos, descriptions) is uploaded by users.
2. Account
You must be at least 16 to register. You are responsible for your account; never share your password. Multiple accounts per person are not allowed.
3. Content rules
Only upload spots you have actually visited or have reliable information about. Inaccurate or fabricated spots will be removed.
Not allowed: spots on private property, in restricted zones or under enforcement; offensive/inflammatory/off-topic content; photos of people without their consent (children, the inside of private property).
Photos you upload must be yours or from a freely-usable source.
4. Licence
For content you upload (spots, photos, descriptions) you grant fishpins a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable licence to display, distribute and operate the service. You keep the copyright.
5. Moderation
New spots are reviewed by moderators. Moderators may reject, delete or edit content — especially after a flag report, an inaccuracy, or a rules violation. You can object via [email protected].
6. Liability
Spots on the map are unofficial; local fishing law (licence, closed seasons, size limits) varies — compliance is your responsibility.
The service is provided as-is; we do not guarantee continuous availability or content accuracy.
7. Termination
You can delete your account any time. We may also terminate your account for serious or repeated violations.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; changes are published on this page. We will notify you of substantial changes.
